For this project I took sound bites and cover shots from my previous video story project. The project took place at Alcoa Pines Health and Rehabilitation in Benton. Amber Richart, the Assistant Administrator, was very gracious to allow me to interview her. The shooting time took approximately an hour and a half.
For the TV format story, I chose two sound bites that I felt conveyed the overall feel of the facility. Both interview clips show Amber explaining how the staff at Alcoa Pines takes great pride in making the residents feel as though they are at home. Amber was very vocal about patient care as well as providing a comfortable atmosphere for those who live there.
I chose four different shots of cover footage for this project. The footage shows how the facility is taking great steps in improving the way of life for the residents. The footage also shows how the staff interacts with the residents as if they were family.
I used iMovie to edit this video. I also used a microphone and my iPhone 6 to record the voice overs. The project took about an hour to put together and edit. I hope you enjoy the video.
